What was once an unused grass-sloped backyard, became a beautiful three-tiered much-loved terrace. Defined by carefully configured raised planters and cedar and stone steps, this yard provided a multitude of formal and informal seating areas for both intimate and party-sized gatherings. The custom cedar fence maximized the privacy, helping to create flow throughout the garden. Existing flagstones were used for entrance walkway and paving for the lower terrace. The original yew tree was pruned and became a sculptural piece in the garden. Plant material chosen for this garden is in keeping with the surrounding indigenous plant life.
